A personalised travel proposal
If you decide to move forward I begin designing your journey.
At this stage a design fee is applied:
Tailor made journey for individuals or families: 1 500 SEK
Private group journeys: 3 000 SEK
The fee reflects the work invested in creating a thoughtful and personal travel design and is fully deducted from the total cost upon booking.

You receive the proposal in an inspiring format and we refine every detail together until everything feels just right.

Booking & travel
Once everything feels right we move forward and confirm your journey.
Everything is then carefully planned and prepared so you can travel with a sense of ease, confidence and anticipation.
During your journey everything is in place so you can fully be present in the experience from the moment you arrive until you return home.
You can book Sri Lanka yourself.
But who takes responsibility when something goes wrong?
Planning a journey yourself has never been easier.
Flights, hotels, transfers and experiences can all be booked online within minutes.
But the real difference becomes clear when something changes.
A flight is rescheduled. A transfer is affected. A hotel does not deliver what was agreed. Part of the itinerary suddenly needs to be changed.
When every part of your journey has been booked separately, you are also the one responsible for working out which bookings are affected, which terms apply and who to contact.
When your journey is booked as a package through us, you instead have one clear point of contact and the protection provided by Swedish package travel legislation.
It does not mean that nothing can ever change.
It means that you do not have to face those changes alone.
Swedish protection behind your journey
Sri Lanka Vacay operates through Palmaer Travel in cooperation with Travel Experts.
When your journey is arranged and booked as a package that meets the requirements of Swedish package travel legislation, you receive the rights and protection that come with a package holiday.
This provides a stronger and more cohesive form of consumer protection than simply combining a number of completely separate bookings yourself.
You also know who to turn to regarding the package you have purchased if something does not go according to plan.
Where applicable, the statutory travel guarantee provides financial protection in the event of insolvency.
For a long-haul journey such as Sri Lanka, we believe peace of mind should be part of the planning from the very beginning.
You should be able to look forward to the journey, the places and the experiences.

Booking one individual travel service through us does not automatically mean that the rest of your journey is protected as a package holiday.
For a journey to qualify as a package under Swedish law, certain requirements must be met. This normally involves combining at least two different types of travel services, such as accommodation and transport, into the same travel arrangement.
So if having that additional protection matters to you, tell me from the beginning.
We can look at how the parts you need can be arranged through us and whether they can be combined as a package, while still allowing you the freedom to organise certain elements yourself.
